The Winner’s Circle Running Club’s New Year’s Day Classic (a.k.a. Hangover Classic) 10K and 5K Road Races will be run on Tuesday January 1, 2013, at the Carousel Lounge at Salisbury Beach, MA. Proceeds to benefit the charitable activities and youth and adult running programs of the Winner’s Circle Running Club.

- CHIP TIMING: Start line and finish line, no-hassle chip in bib timing by Yankee Timing
- COURSES: Flat and fast on the beach front roads, no beach running.
- Race Day Parking
- Post Race Party with music, beer, raffles at the Carousel Lounge at Salisbury Beach, MA.
- Commemorative 32nd Annual Hangover Classic long sleeve tee-shirts to first 600 to register.
- Field limited to 1200 total including both races.
- Hangover Classic mugs to 1st 40 male and first 40 female finishers of 10K, first 40 male and first 40 female finishers of 5K.

Early Number/Shirt Pickup and Day Before Registration
Early number/shirt pickup and last-minute registration ($30.00 for your procrastinating friends) will be held at the Winner’s Circle Sports Bar, 211 Elm Street (Rte 110), Salisbury MA on Monday afternoon, December 31, from 12:30PM until 3:00PM. It is a popular afternoon for the sports bar, so consider parking in the shopping center off of Merrill street (see the Google map linked above). The big store in the shopping center is vacant, so there is nearly unlimited parking in the lot in front of the store, very close to the Winners Circle. Number and shirt pickup will also be available on race day, but early pickup will allow you to “sleep in” (a little) and enjoy the race hassle free!
Race day registration ($30.00) and number/shirt pickup opens at 9:30AM Tuesday morning January 1 at the Carousel Lounge. Field limited to 1200.

The weather is unpredictable in January, it’s part of the adventure, but the race will be held regardless of the weather unless the roads are closed by the police (has never happened in the 31 year history of the race). Race entry fees are non-refundable.
