- November 1, 2014 – Cochecho Challenge Half Marathon - 9:05 am
Since 2010, after 5K road races, half marathons have become the second most popular race by number of participants according to Running USA. First Parish Church has created Dover's only Half Marathon Road Race, the COCHECHO CHALLENGE. We have designed an awesome, USA Track & Field certified course that begins at historic First Parish Church in the heart of downtown Dover, NH. After leaving downtown, the course winds through rural neighborhoods, crosses over the Cochecho River in several places (there is a foot bridge at about mile 5) and then returns to the downtown area for the finish at First Parish Church. We will celebrate after the race with complimentary food and beverages and an awards ceremony in the Church parking lot. Awards will be given for overall winners as well as age group winners and all finishers will receive finisher medals. http://www.cochechochallenge.com/
