April Fool's 4 Miler
32nd Annual April Fool’s 4 Mile Road Race
Saturday, March 30 at the Winner’s Circle
11:00 AM start

The 32nd Annual April Fool’s 4 Mile Road Race will be run at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Winner’s Circle, just off of the Rte. 110 exit of Rte. 95, in Salisbury, MA. This great event is one of the oldest races in the WCRC lineup, being just 3 months younger than the Hangover Classic on New Year’s Day. The race features a flat and fast certified course which attracts top runners, along with a fun atmosphere and great post race party, making the event inviting to all. Profits from this race will benefit the American Red Cross and the Alzheimer’s Association. Special thanks is due to the 2013 race sponsors: the Institution for Savings and the Smuttynose Brewing Co.

As in recent years, the April Fool’s 4 Miler is proud to be part of the Gone Loco – Will Run for Beer – Race Series.

The April Fool’s 4 Miler is also the first race in WCRC’s own Speed Series 4-3-2-1, which continues with the Run for the Roses 5K, the Pat Polletta 2 Miler, and the High Street Mile. In fact, you can register for all four of these WCRC races at once by registering for the Speed Series – “It’s all about running faster.”

LAST MINUTE REGISTRATION

Day before race registration ( $30 ) will be available on Friday March 29 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Winner’s Circle Sports Bar in Salisbury, MA (click for directions). Race day registration will be from 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM on Saturday March 30, also at the Winner’s Circle.

Information for Registered Runners

There will be an early number/shirt pickup on Friday March 29 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the Winner’s Circle Sports Bar in Salisbury, MA (click for directions). Come to Friday night number pickup if you want first choices on shirts. We have 100 cotton shirts and the rest tech. There are Blue tech and white tech shirts. We have black hats and white hats to choose from. If your number is 600 or less you have your choice of shirt or hat.  600 to 900 you get a hat or any leftover shirts. I will have some of the last 2 years shirts if you prefer a shirt over a hat. Sizes are limited. Registration will also be available on Friday evening.

Race day number/shirt pickup and race day registration will be from 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM on Saturday March 30. There is plenty of convenient race day parking in the designated lot just beyond the Winner’s Circle on Rt. 110. Please refer to the parking map and follow the directions from the volunteers on race day.

Be sure to have an ID with you at number pick up so we can give you beer tickets.
