The WCRC Speed Series 4-3-2-1 combines 4 fast races of decreasing distance. Everyone has a chance to refine their speed. The series offers:

• Awards for Competitive Performance: Speed Series age/gender division awards (Speed Series jackets to first in division) will be presented in the following age divisions using grand prix style points scoring across all four races: 6-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Awards for Personal Performance: Special performance medals will be presented to every series runner whose average per mile pace over all 10.1 miles of the four races is faster than their average per mile pace for the April Fool’s 4 Miler.
• Awards for Completing All Four Races: Speed Series commemorative medals and Speed Series hats will be presented to every runner who completes all four races.
• One Fee for All Four Races: Register on-line for the series and you will be automatically entered into all four races of the series, with no extra hassle. Series registration: $80. Runners who have already registered for the WCRC April Fools 4 Mile Race (the first race in the Speed Series) can register for the three remaining races for $55.
