The Winner’s Circle Running Club manages seven club owned races scattered throughout the year (January, March/April, May, July, August, November, and December), and ranging in distance from 1 mile to 10K. The oldest of these races (the Hangover Classic 10K and the April Fool’s 4-Miler) have been put on by the club continuously for over 30 years. All of these races are organized by club member race directors, assisted by club member race committees, and are staffed on race day by club member volunteers. Proceeds from these races go to support the adult and youth running activities and the charitable activities of the club.
The latest event in the WCRC race lineup is actually a combination of existing events: the WCRC 4-3-2-1 Speed Series. This new series of short fast races counts down the distance, including the April Fool’s 4-Mile race in March/April, the Run for the Roses 5K race in May (~ 3 miles), the Pat Polletta 2-Mile race in July and the High Street Mile (1 mile) in August. Details of the series will be published soon.
