Each year, the WCRC organizes the Predict Your Time Turkey Run and Raffle. This event is traditionally held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving at the Winner’s Circle. This is free event for WCRC MEMBERS ONLY. Predict your own time, run a 5k in your predicted time without a watch, win a turkey if your prediction is the closest. What could be easier? For those of us who are elapsed-time challenged, there is a ten turkey raffle as well (look out for the infamous can of spam). Refreshments are traditionally served at the awards ceremony. |
